ELATOCHORI

ELATOCHORI... of Ioannina... is a beautiful village, situated in a lush green landscape, surrounded by pines, firs, sycamores, walnuts, beeches and other trees. Located in the foothills of  Tsoukas - Geena (pinnacle), at an altitude of 1050 meters. Elatochori administratively belongs to the municipality of Zagori and is 57 km from Ioannina. The old name of the village was Tsernesi, a name which refers to the folk song''Fezodervenagas"!!!
